Camp Kateri Session 2 - Rosaryville Kateri Hall
Make summer time a great time to play and explore! Camp Kateri is a week-long day and overnight summer camp at Rosaryville Spirit Life Center located in Ponchatoula, Louisiana. Established in the 1960s, our youth summer camp continues to offer an exciting and enriching summer camp experience for boys and girls ages 7-13. Each summer, Camp Kateri provides a special summer camp program of recreation, adventure, creativity and fun! From horseback riding, cooking and swimming to camp fires and canoeing, each day at camp is packed with discovery and great opportunities to build lasting friendships and unforgettable memories. The Rosaryville grounds are fully equipped with over 500 acres, a junior Olympic-size swimming pool, a 2-acre fishing pond, stables, gymnasium, nature trails and more. Camp is filled with fun and challenging activities geared towards developing mind, body and spirit. We aim to provide summer camp experience that can serve as inner resources for building character. Wearable Technology - The Digital Arts Experience
Wearable technology is becoming more and more popular everyday, especially when devices such as fit bits and apple watches exist. However, what if we were to incorporate technology into fashion? In this class, students will learn to invent and create a functional wearable garment, such as a shirt that lights up when reacting to sound, light, or temperature. Students will combine technology & fashion to create great looking, interactive wearables. This class will incorporate sewing, electronics, and fundamental programming. Animal Adventures - July 10 - Keyauwee Program Center
Take time out from boating and doing arts and crafts to play with a host of animals. In this session, you will swim, go geocaching and cook out over a campfire. Also play with baby goats, take part in a dog wash and an animal scavenger hunt around camp. 336-274-8491

This non-credit review course is designed for rising seventh, eighth, and ninth graders. Successfully completing the course (and passing the summer reading quizzes and tests on any book studied in the class) will satisfy the summer reading requirement for students enrolling at MUS for the 2016-17 school year.
