Do you love all creatures great and small?! Take a walk on the wild side and join us as we find inspiration in the vibrant colors, exotic patterns, and unusual shapes found in the world?s most amazing animals, birds, and bugs. Campers will: * Use patterns, colors, and shapes found in animals, birds, or bugs to inspire a work of art * Zoom in on a tiny detail of a creature to create a stunning abstract drawing or painting * Create your own fake bug collection! No real bugs involved! Draw or sculpt a stunning array of cool critters. * Attempt to capture the elusive giant sloth. We are certain it is in the Art Center somewhere? moving very slowly! My 5 year old daughter loved Camp Galileo. Since they group children by ages, she got to meet other children with similar interests. She was having so much fun she didn’t realize she was also learning about science and art. My 9 year old son enjoyed the outdoor activities. His favorite game was playing Star Wars tag. Welcome to the 2016 Spotsylvania Sheriff's Office Youth NFL Football Camp. Sheriff Roger L. Harris, 2X Super Bowl Champion Gary Clark formerly of the Washington Redskins and Tessa Wilborne and Jamie Brown of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices would like to invite your child to an NFL experience of a LIFETIME !! Cost: FREE WHO CAN ATTEND: Spotsylvania residents ages 6 to 18 years of age. WHERE DO I REGISTER MY CHILD: Each participating child must register at www.yourNFLexperience.com Registration will start promptly at 8AM each day at the entrance of the football stadium with the camp starting at 9AM. Your child must be picked up by 1PM at the same location. WHAT WILL YOUR CHILD NEED TO BRING: All participants are required to wear either rubber based cleats or tennis shoes and bring a water bottle. Water will be provided and replenished all day. If your child requires an inhaler, please have them bring it. Medical staff will be on hand each day. Faith Camp Week 3 - Faith Lutheran Church
Week #3 - We welcome you to Week #3 of 3 weeks of fun, adventure, and learning. Our hope is that the Faith Camp experience will follow your child home and bless your family. Faith Camp is for children who have completed Kindergarten - 5th grade by June, 2016. Please Note: * Children who will have completed the 5th Grade by the time Faith Camp begins are known as Disciple Campers. These campers have a different experience than everyone else. Our DCs are exposed to Servant Leadership as they engage as helpers to our paid staff and participate in an off-site service opportunity and off-site field trip. There is an extra nominal fee for the field trip (movies, bowling, skating, etc.) * Because staff is hired and t-shirts and supplies are ordered according to our registration numbers, we are unable to give refunds within 30 days of your scheduled week of camp. If your plans change and you notify us prior to the 30 day window, we are happy to give you a full refund. 1-713-664-3048

From Manga to classic Superheroes, campers will explore different drawing, cartooning and animation styles in this extraordinary mixed media class. Some of our projects include creating character profiles and story lines to use in your own comic book and figure, and making doodles into colorful art posters. We will even design our own personal crest and make t-shirt transfers. Students work will be exhibited in our end of summer Art Show. 734-416-4278
