Pop Rock Star - Ohlook Performing Arts Center
Do you dream of being Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez or Katy Perry? Come learn the art of rock and pop. We will sing your favorite pop songs, and will even write some songs of our own. Students will be taught to play a few basic chords on guitar and piano. Our instructor Zoe Ann has her own band, toured on concert, and albums of her own. She will be sure to mix great instruction with a lot of fun! A final rock video will be produced as well as a live concert for family and friends with the other Rock classes. 817-421-2825

Basketball Class - Basketball Camp - Petaluma Community Center
Camp is packed with skills, drills and daily competitions. This camp is designed to make your child a better basketball player. Whether they are a beginner or intermediate player, the drills taught at this camp will help them improve their game. They will learn footwork, passing, ball-handling and defense. Home School Comes Alive with Shakespeare - Location: Center for The Creative Arts
For the Shakespeare buff or novice this is a fun yet educational program as we make history come alive through performance of a Shakespeare classic. This year we are adding a new dimension in that we will take one of his classic tragedy plays and add a humorous twist. While the play will keep with the essence of the original storyline and characters, students will find this play highly entertaining to perform. This truly unique course is especially designed for the home-¬schooled that incorporates history, literature, and performance. History comes alive as students create and act out their interpretation of imaginary and real characters during Shakespeares time. Students will also learn performance skills as they practice techniques for stage acting along with the wonderful experience of performing an adaptation of one of Shakespeares classic plays. Plays under consideration are Hamlet and Romeo & Juliet with a twist. A fully staged performance will be presented for family and friends at the conclusion of this course. Robotics Vehicles - College Prep Middle
Robotics Vehicles – (6th - 8th Grade) Students will build Vehicles using Mindstorms robotics equipment. Students will advance on their programming skills and manipulate the Vehicles with coding on a laptop. There is a limit to 16 children for the class. The curriculum for the Robotics Club is different for each quarter, allowing for new material to be added per quarter. But the different curriculum also allows for new students to join in without having had previous Robotics experience. Students do not need to bring anything to the Club. Make Your Own Comic Book - The Evergreen School
Students will draw their own comic book while learning storyboarding, basic character drawing, and 3D drawing. There will be opportunities to read comic books and to use how-to-draw guides in Manga, Anime, and various other styles. On the last day everyone will take home the comic book they created. This class is led in a supportive and creative atmosphere by Lukas Allenbaugh, who has over 20 years of experience teaching various styles of art to children. 206-957-1533
