Students will explore simple robotics using LEGO WeDo. Each week they will build models, attach sensors and motors that are plugged into a computer, and configure behaviors using simple programming. Four themes will be introduced including: Amazing Mechanisms, Wild Animals, Play Soccer and Adventure Stories. As students advance through the program extension projects can be added for those who are ready for more challenging projects. Winter Kids' Camp - Houston, TX
Children thrive engaging in hands-on learning experiences that encourage courageous and creative thinking. These combination cooking, baking, and art camps provide perfect activities to build a child’s confidence and expression, as well as learning life-long personal skills. UKSA (United Kingdom Soccer Association) is a class designed for children who are ready for more of a challenge. The curriculum is designed to build fundamental skills such as balance, coordination and ball skills. Our fast-paced, fun exposure to the most popular sport in the world opens up your kids minds. Classes focus on foot-eye coordination, balance, dribbling, shooting, passing and the basic fundamentals of soccer. Our classes will also introduce the concepts of teamwork and cooperation. Our main goal is to provide a fun and comfortable environment for your child to learn. Age Range: 7 and up Description: Campers will spend a week exploring all things Minecraft: from educational MODs, build challenges, hands on clay Minecraft figurine building, build a Minecraft torch that lights up, hour of code with Minecraft, Minecraft style block art tile painting, learn about screen printing and stencil your very own Creeper t-shirt, make Minecraft Creepers out of Hama beads, to paper arts and more.
