This class is NOT TO BE MISSED by any dancer who is interested in improving their skill level. Concentrating on Smooth-Style Lindy (also referred to variously as Hollywood-Style, Dean Collins Style, and So-Cal Lindy), this class will improve your whips and swing-outs, help you develop floor-craft, work on styling, and emphasize lead-and-follow technique. Class will focus on drilling the Lindy Whip and the Push, concentrating on the concepts of weight sharing, counter balance, compression, syncopation, etc. First 30 minutes of class will be spent on working the basics with intense drilling; following 60 minutes will be spent exploring new challenges. Assalamu Alykum my fellow brothers. The event that everyone awaits for every year is here again with the title "Reviving Our Roots". Spend the weekend that is full of activities, workshops, fun, and last but not least, DELICIOUS food. We have limited seats in our vans that will transport you to the campsite. This Meeting will be to discuss the final details and schedule with all Princess Camp Candidates as well as to Meet with the Teens and Misses to go over questions, concerns, outstanding paperwork, requirements and CMN and tentative schedule/checklist. Princess meeting will be from 1-1:45pm and Teens and Misses will be from 1:45-3pm. EVERYONE PARTICIPATING SHOULD ATTEND UNLESS YOU ARE AWAY AT SCHOOL AND NOT HOME YET OR ARE COMING FROM MORE THAN AN HOUR AWAY AND IT'S NOT POSSIBLE. ALL NEW TEENS AND MISSES MUST ATTEND. !! Ralph Gross Memorial Baseball Camp - Nashville, AR (Scrapper Dome)
The Ralph Gross Memorial Baseball Camp will be held on Saturday, March 5th at the Scrapper Dome in Nashville (AR). The Camp will be held from 9 am - 12 noon for ages 8-15 years of age inside the Scrapper Dome. Participants will get to hear instruction on all phases of the games from hitting, fielding, pitching and running from a instructor/staff that has been involved in professional baseball on all levels. Since 1989, PRO-DAY Baseball has been teaching young players the finer points of the game, have sent hundreds of players into professional baseball, along with hundreds and hundreds of others have went on to receive baseball scholarships to colleges/universities across the country. Players need to register in advance, the camp is "Limited". Proceeds will benefit the Ralph Gross Memorial Scholarship, which is given to a high school senior each year that plans to go off to college to play baseball and continue their education at Nashville High. 888-224-6150
