LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Two Week Fandom/Half-Blood - CAMP DEMIGOD INSTITUTE
Campers (ages 10-16) experience our unique program centered on innovation, mentorship, leadership and community-building. DIGIVATIONS Camp Demigods Demigod Institute and August Camp Half-Blood are a blend of world building through innovation, role playing and speculative fiction. These Camps are based on the principles that kids have an enormous reservoir of creativity and innovative ideas which they look forward to sharing with other like-minded individuals who hold common interests. Please register using a computer. Please do not use a tablet or smart phone when you register because the program will not work properly. The registration process takes about an hour and asks you to answer about 50 questions. The program does not allow you to save your work, so it is best to answer the questions in one sitting, electronically sign all the waivers and pay your deposit so you are fully registered. Many of the questions at the end of the application are best answered in consultation with your child: so that they express their interests, their first choices of cabin (demigod or fandom), etc. Tuition covers all meals, housing, instruction, guest lectures, ImagineSTEM blog, mentoring, supervision, materials, and recreation fees. Self-defence Class - Self Defense - St. Paul Gym
Awareness, avoidance, and physical techniques are all key features of self-defense training. This camp for both girls and boys will focus on concepts and techniques that are practical, simple and applicable to todays world. Discussion on potential threats and negative situations will be included along with tips for avoiding danger and physical practice for self-protection. Our experienced instructor will facilitate the building of a safe, fun learning environment in this invaluable camp! All registrants agree to the policies and procedures of Youth Programs, including change fees, cancellation fees, deadlines, and other details found in the program materials and parent handbook. Session I Volleyball - Cornerstone University
Grades 5-12 (Overnight/Commuter Camp) Check-in will be from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM on Monday morning in the Bernice Hansen Athletic Center. Parents are welcome to attend the training sessions and observe. A medical release form has been enclosed and the registration process will move along much more quickly if this form is filled out (or mailed in) prior to checking in. We will begin camp at 9:00 AM throughout the week. Free time will be from 3:00 to 4:45. Campers may go back to their dorm to relax, play pool, ping-pong or stay in the gym and watch the camp counselors play volleyball. Dinner is from 4:45 to 5:30 with games from 6:00 to 8:00. If you are a commuting camper attending an overnight camp week, the cost of your dinner meal is not included in the camp tuition you paid. Therefore, you may purchase a dinner meal plan for the week at the time of registration. If you prefer, you may also pack a dinner meal for each day or be picked up by your parents to go home/out for dinner. The camp will feature drill and technique work designed specifically for the young athlete to build a foundation that will lead to years of success on the gridiron.
