Skills and Skating sessions at Arcadia Mon, Tues and Thurs 7:20AM-8:50AM for ALL youth hockey players who are homeschooled or online schooled regardless of school or hockey organization (example: if you are a peewee A player at Mission, homeschooled by your parents via chandler online prep you can still attend Bobcats Academy for morning skills sessions). Sessions must be paid monthly. Disclaimer***due to the increased cost of ice we can no longer offer free weds night sessions as part of the Academy package***. Session payments are for a full month and are non refundable except with a physicians note. There are no make up sessions for missed lessons available due to the nature of the program. 602-388-2112

Campers learn about important life saving techniques including first aid and CPR. Numerous hands-on projects including: mammalian heart dissection, using medical instruments, triage and diagnosis. Explore the structures and physiology of the amazing human body. Career opportunities are discussed as campers meet a real nursing professional. Students will learn about project design, object-oriented programming, console applications, graphics applications and many elements of the Java language. Along the way students will build on what they learn each day. This includes learning how to program frames, colors and programming moving objects. The week begins with simple programming until it builds by the end where students will be able to create the game of pong in Java. No programming experience is necessary but doing common tasks on a computer is useful. Who knows, maybe you have the next Bill Gates or Steve Jobs living in your house and you never knew it!
