PowerHouse Regional Youth Conference - Milford, IN
The PowerHouse regional youth conference will return to Camp Mack again this year, providing a weekend of worship, workshops, music, recreation, and more for senior high youth in the Midwest and their advisors. The Church of the Brethren BVS and Workcamp staff will provide leadership for the weekend on the theme "Plug In: to God, each other & the world" based on 3 John 1:13-14. Cost is $80 for youth, $70 for advisors and will go up $10 if you register after October 21. Registration is LIVE at www.manchester.edu/powerhouse. We hope you can join us Nov. 12-13 for this fun and faith-filled weekend!

Youth strength and conditioning camp - Houston, TX
Calling all youth athletes and aspiring athletes!!! Parents, Bring your kids out to this clinic to improve their knowledge and skills in core strength, conditioning, footwork and combat fighting drills. This is a free event that is proposed for kids from second to eighth grade. The instructors of this event are Police Officers who enjoy working with youth on becoming better people and athletes while giving tips to improve their proficiency in any sport. If you are interested in signing your child up for this event please contact one us in a direct message. Again, we want to advise that this event is designed to give workout tips to all athletes!!!! Please be aware that this is a volunteered event and injury may occur. If injury occurs, we encourage parents to contact medical personnel. Please be aware of your child health conditions before attending this event. Instructors will not be liable for any injury that occurs. Upon arrival, Parents are encouraged to check in child(s) at 7am. Please arrive in workout attire with tennis shoes. Bring a towel, plenty of water and fruit. Global Video Game Designer #2 - Middle School
Students shouldnt just be playing video games, they should be MAKING their own games using video cameras, sensors, and drawings. Students even get to remix what others have done to hack their games! By learning Scratch (designed by the brilliant folks at MIT), your child will get to impress you with his or her cool and original creations. Plus, your child will be doing a good deed while gaming, as with all Level Up Village classes, 30% of the profits go towards funding a Global Partner class of students who live in poverty. Using video chatting, your child and his or her global partner will get to hack into each others games! All the while, your child will be learning about math, logic, coding and presentation skills.
