Class will meet Monday-Friday each week. The class will not meet on Monday, May 30 (Memorial Day). Students will learn the concepts and play of team sports. Also, gain an understanding of diet, major bones and muscles, and first aid training. Each student must wear a PE uniform during class. PE uniforms are included in the cost for the class and will be ordered during checkout of this class registration. Students will receive them the first day of class. 316-634-0909

Come and join us, support us, buy a coffee and a snack, and enjoy the show. *We ask for a minimum donation of $1 on our baked goods, and $2 on our coffee.

Hi Everyone! It's almost 2016, which means it's finally time to start preparations for this summer's camp! The first informational meeting will be on Saturday, January 9th. There will be a total of two informational meetings (the second on January 31st). If you are applying to be a full time counselor for the first time, you are required to attend at least one of the meetings. Also, keep an eye out on your emails for the counselor application that will be released soon. Can't wait to see all of you on January 9th! Young Scientist (HALF DAY ONLY) - San Juan Del Rio Catholic School
This is our HALF DAY option for Young Scientist. This stimulating camp offers an incredible collection of projects and experiments that will amuse and amaze your little scientist! By being involved with several hands-on activities your child will explore the basic scientific ideas that play a role in everyday life. Campers will also learn how the scientific method helps give us the answers to our many questions. Well be very busy in this camp while exploring projects and experiments in topics such as chemistry, physics, engineering, biology, and MORE! This camp is perfect for the most curios little scientists, ages 4 and 5. Sample Projects: Glowing firefly, Seashell necklace, Slime Creation, Water Bottle Rocketry. Camp Apollo - Rock Terrace School
Elementary school youth within the autism spectrum. Activities for campers include coloring and painting, musical games, playground fun, swimming twice a week and local field trips. Quiet time, low lighting and sensory activities will be used as a transition from ESY to camp. Depending on skill levels, campers will be divided into two groups during some activities. To be successful, must be able to follow one/two step directions, ability to manage their behavior and be able to make simple choices. Campers must exhibit ability for self care with limited assistance with changing or prompting using bathroom. Staff ratio: 1 staff/4 participants. Lenape Day Camp - Session I (Grades 1-6) Recreational camp provides a variety of activities such as arts and crafts, multi-cultural games, fitness, science, nature, and swimming. Field trips and special presentations are planned throughout the summer. Swim program is not optional. All campers will participate in a 1/2 hour American Red Cross swim lesson and a 1/2 hour of recreational swim each day. Registration is for full two-week session. Lenape cannot be combined with other specialty or sport camps offered by the Township. Pre and Post Camp care is offered at Millstone River School through WWP Community Education for an additional fee. Children enrolled in pre/post camp will be escorted by camp staff members between the two schools. 2nd Session - Fencing - YSCP
Fencing captures the imagination of kids of all ages, but it requires a trained, experienced instructor to learn safely and correctly. The Young Scholars Fencing Program is being run by the coaches of the Central PA Fencing Association. Coach Wes Glon, the Head Coach of the PSU Fencing Team personally trains and hires the coaches for this program. Coach Chuck has 40 years of fencing experience and has been part of the CPFA programs since 2006. Your child will learn the basics of sabre fencing with an emphasis on sportsmanship, safety and history.
