Aesops factory machinery - Straucy, the Story Starter; Pluto, the Plot Plotter; Wadsworth, the Word Worker; and Gretel, the Grammar Guardian - create and enact stories with the help of Monroe the new-found Moral Maker. Performances: Tuesday, July 5 at 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. See YOUR Child Perform LIVE on the beautiful Amaturo Stage at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts! Bursting with the excitement of live musical theater, Summer Theater Camp will make your rising star shine! Discover an oasis of creativity, learning and laughter for students ages 6 through 18. Drivers Education - Bolles San Jose Campus
This course includes 30 hours of classroom instruction, 6 hours of actual driving time, and 12 hours of "in-car" observation. The first two weeks will consist of classroom instruction from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Athletic Conference room. Students will be asked to choose a driving session to comply with state requirements. There are two sessions to choose from, with no more than 9 allowed per session. Session I: June 27 - July 8 Session II: July 11 - July 21 All students must attend this segment to comply with State of Florida requirements. Before the students actual driving session, the student must have at least a restricted license. Within each driving session, there will be a driving group that will drive for an hour and a half each day for the two-week period. Similar driving experience will help determine the composition of each group. Students successfully completing this course will receive a Bolles certificate that may qualify them for an insurance discount. 904-256-5071

Educators provide a rich learning environment for the children in the Pre-K program including many sensory experiences, hands-on activities, language immersion opportunities, and Kindergarten readiness integration. Children construct their own learning and knowledge from the endless opportunities and the guidance provided by the educators. This special learning environment is a product of our philosophy of the image of each child as competent, capable, and curious. Educators also provide children with integrated opportunities to practice learned Jewish ethics and values each day through lessons on the Jewish holidays, books, games, rituals, and customs. Pre-K educators also meet each year with Austin Independent School District (AISD) Kindergarten educators and Austin Jewish Academy (AJA) Kindergarten educators to discuss student expectations and recent educational developments. Schedules for each Pre-K class include both large and small group times as well as times for individual choice in centers and on the playground. Children learn to follow directions and transition between activities.
