Kid's Fit Camp - West Deptford, NJ
Kid's Fit Camp A three week kids fitness program for kids ages 6 - 13. Sign your children up for this fun and educational fitness program. They will engage in physical activity while learning all about fitness and the importance of nutrition. Each day will incorporate both informational instruction and practical application and will hopefully spark your child’s interest in a healthy lifestyle. Prerequisite: Passed Basic 5. This camp will teach skaters how to express emotion and exhibit true artistry on the ice, and also provide an exciting performance opportunity. Craig Ranch Sports Camp Week 1 - Cooper Fitness Center at Craig Ranch
This camp is a joint venture between Cooper Fitness Center at Craig Ranch and the TPC at Craig Ranch. Brad Ott will utilize his 20+ years of golf training experience to teach children ages 7-16 the basics of golf. Fundamental learning will focus on full-swing (wedges, irons, and woods) and short game (putting, chipping, pitching, and bunker play). Campers will then move on to tennis under the guidance of Head Tennis Pro, Andrew Kaikai and his assistant. This class will lead players in drills to help their general strokes. This class is designed to introduce beginners to the game and improve playing ability through drills, activities, and fun games. After lunch, the campers will jump in Coopers Olympic-sized pool under the direction of Head Swim Pro, Patrick Kennedy and Swim Coach, Mike Howes. This class will serve as an introduction to teach your child the fundamentals or swimming through drills, activities, and fun games. SoCal Youth Tri Series Kids Triathlon Open Water Swim Clinic - South Shores Park, Mission Bay
Our USA TRIATHLON CERTIFIED COACHES will make sure your child is well prepared for their Kids Triathlon Open Water Swim! We will practice sighting, navigating their swim course, pacing their energy, and practice entries and exits. Child must be able to swim 100 yds. Wetsuits highly recommended. Each child earns 1 point towards series awards for participating in the clinic. Plus, Healthy post event refreshments. EVENT DETAILS AND SCHEDULE Event email will be sent to all participants the week of the clinic with all the details. Clinic will start at 2:30p check in time and end at 4:30p. The Art and Science of Photography - Sycamore School
Instructor: Lauren Ditchley -- During this camp photographers explore the medium of photography in many forms. We will experiment with traditional methods of image making - Cyanotype prints, pinhole photography, black and white darkroom, as well as current techniques in digital photography and photoshop editing. It would be helpful for students to have a point and shoot digital camera to use during this camp. This does not need to be an expensive camera, just something you might already own. 317-202-2500

College Prep Camp - Non-Appalachian Region - Transylvania University
Transylvanias College Prep Camp will give campers an opportunity to sample college life while gaining academic knowledge and learning how to improve their scores on standardized tests. Morning and afternoon sessions will explore different academic areas through lectures given by Transylvania faculty and staff members. These will often be the same lectures you might receive as a Transylvania student. Evening sessions will help prepare campers for the ACT and SAT exams. They will receive two evenings of math preparation and two evenings of verbal preparation. During camp, participants live in a Transylvania residence hall and eat three meals a day in the dining hall, beginning with breakfast on Monday. Campers can also use Transys library, computer laboratory, and recreational facilities. Internet services will not be available in the dorm rooms. To be eligible for this camp, campers must have a grade average of at least a B and be recommended by two individuals - one of them a teacher or counselor who verifies your grades and confirms that you are interested in and would benefit from the camps program.
