More than toys, LEGO building blocks are a doorway to mathematics, science and technology. They also are a blast to play with! Students in this camp will explore creative options with blocks, then work with FIRST LEGO League Jr. simple machine kits to explore key scientific models like levers, pulleys and gears. By the end, they will be on their way to FLL Jr. participation in the upcoming competition season, or just have enjoyed great hands‐on opportunities to learn some basic engineering. We are excited to announce we will be having our first ever Youth Art Camp!! This will be a 3 day camp for 2 hours a day from 10am -12pm. Each day your child will learn a different form of art and create their own masterpiece to bring home. We will also provide a light snack each day. This will be a great learning opportunity for each child with a creative mind. I will have limited spaces. The fee for this camp is $60 a child for all 3 days. If you think you would be interested in signing up your child you may call the store @ 256-754-5018 and place a $20 non refundable deposit to hold your childs spot. The High School Harp Solo and Ensemble Workshop is open to entering grades 9, 10, 11 or 12. The program is an exciting week of solo and ensemble experiences exploring classical traditions and improvisational styles. In addition, participants have the opportunity to attend special master classes on a variety of topics including selected orchestral audition excerpts, chamber music, harp maintenance, and career discussions. This camp is designed to maximize a volleyball players potential in all aspects of the game. This camp is geared for high school players of all levels.
