Want to continue your new found skill? Our instructor will work with you on increasing your level of skill while spending more time working on your technique and increasing your shooting distance. We will also introduce different types of bows and equipment. All basic archery equipment will be provided. You must have completed a Camden Beginning Archery Camp prior to registration for this activity. Please bring a water bottle and snack each day. We’re looking forward to another successful Bazaar this fall! If you missed out on our annual Fall/Christmas Bazaar last year, you certainly won’t want to miss this year! A fun filled day of shopping with local crafters and vendors to support Royal Family Kids Camp of Princeton, WV which is a camp for abused, neglected, and at risk children of Southern WV. (More information on our organization can be found on our Facebook page) Table Fees are $25.00 per table and each vendor/crafter will need to provide 1 item to donate for the silent auction. Table fees and silent auction proceeds go to the camp. – Should you need a larger space please message us and we will accommodate you with a fee to best fit the space needed. Camp Greenwell - Week 9 - The Greenwell Foundation
Ages 6-12 by June 20, 2016 [ages 6 (who have completed kindergarten) –12 by first day of camp session]. Camp Greenwell is everything nature and adventure with opportunities to kayak, hike, craft, fish, do archery, play and discover. Mid-week, campers will take a wagon ride over to the Manor House area where they can build forts with bamboo, explore the gardens, play water games and capture the flag, visit the Barn and participate in our Nature Time program. Daily free time allows the campers to let their imagination and interests drive their play while in the outdoors. Each afternoon, campers are provided an afternoon snack and each week there is a chance to make Smores. The week ends with Tye-Dye Friday for a take-home memory of the week at camp. Camp Greenwell is offered all eight weeks of our summer camp program. Both AM and PM Extended care and Drop-In Extended Care is available. Wear your safety goggles as we experiment, explore and make oozy-gooey science fun! Well be exploring chemistry and physics (in an age appropriate way) by using everyday materials to conduct fascinating experiments. Each day campers will have the opportunity to become scientists by mixing, measuring and calculating, producing fun science creations! No camp on Monday, July 4th. EV3 SPACE ROBOTICS, MINECRAFT & STOP MOTION ANIMATION - The Derryfield School
Explore the stars! The Star Wars universe will be our guide as we tackle the challenges and adventures of space exploration. Participants will learn how to build and program their own planetary exploration droid in order to find the Rebels a new planet to put their base. Build and program your droid to navigate unseen areas, collect and test samples, and even film its exploits! Participants will learn how to use sensors to help their droid maneuver through an unknown land, in order to collect and test samples and bring back information to the Rebels. Children will even be able to have their droid record its adventures using a smartphone. In the afternoon campers will learn about circuits and Redstone to build Rebel bases on hostile worlds filled with traps and defenses to protect them from the Empire. Later we will take on the role of the Empire and attack each others bases to test their defenses. Children will learn how to camouflage their base into its surroundings (using hidden doors and other techniques), as well as how to use Redstone to create traps and other defenses against the Empire. Video Production Camp is a hands-on educational fun summer camp experience. Filmmakers will be challenged to create a short film during their week of camp while experiencing and shooting rowing, snorkeling, exploring shipwrecks using a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV), blacksmithing, hiking, and much more. This week-long program gives you the opportunity to build your filmmaking skills and knowledge from any experience level using your own camera or phone as well as our collection of GoPro cameras, DSLRs, and editing computers.
