PLEASE NOTE: Monday classes are held at TAC (Temescal Arts Center) This class continues to build alignment through stretching, intermediate Hip Hop vocabulary, musicality, and isolations of the body. Level I students begin to step in front of the class as leaders, sharing their creativity, voices, and choreography. From warm ups to across the floor to developing choreography on other dancers; this class is both challenging yet in the context of a safe and supportive environment. The Cardinal Volleyball Camp, run by the Cardinal coaches, is a great way to start learning the skills and expectations of the 9-12 program. We will touch on the very basic components of individual skill and progress toward exposure to more advanced concepts that we implement at the varsity level. A variety of individual skills will be addressed including: basic passing form, defensive movement, serving approach footwork, blocking footwork and transition movement. Team concepts that will be touched on include: offensive and defensive systems, serve receive patterns and positive team interactions.
