Designed for middle and older teens, Extreme Sports Camp is packed full of classic amp experiences which include opportunities to learn sailing, water skiing, canoeing kayaking, four wheeling, archery, riflery, barrel racing, paint-balling, and swimming. Youll create a line of jewelry working in a variety of materials, working with a professional jeweler. Youll metal smith in silver and copper, incorporate leather, resin, and beads into your designs. This action packed camp focuses solely on rockets and the physics of rocket flight. Learn about model rocket design, aerodynamics, building, propulsion, launching, safety, and repair. Participants will have the opportunity to sharpen their soccer skills with technical training, compete in small sided games, and enjoy the North Shore Lakefront for Beach Soccer an hour every day! Under the supervision of Northwestern University Mens Soccer Staff and Coerver Certified coaches, your young soccer player is sure to have a great time while developing his ability on the field. Algebra Bridge Class - TRINITY ACADEMY
This class is for the student who has completed Algebra I and wants to reinforce those skills before entering Geometry or Algebra II. There will be particular emphasis on the second semester Algebra I concepts that typically cause students difficulty. Items covered will include the following: solving and rearranging equations, slope, writing equations of lines, solving systems of equations, simplifying exponents, multiplying binomials (FOIL) reducing radical expressions, and factoring. Students are expected to take notes, work on in-class assignments, and should be prepared to complete some assignments at home.
