Classroom: MUR Instructor: FUNKMODE staff Does your child love to dance? Cant sit still when music comes on? Then they are ready for FUNKMODE Hip Hop and Breakdance! Students will build their confidence while learning various Hip Hop dance styles in a positive, encouraging atmosphere. We have developed a unique curriculum to ensure they will learn musicality, choreography and performance skills each week, while using their own creativity and personal expression. Clarinet Camps - Clarinet Camp - MacPhail Center for Music - Minneapolis
Designed for high school students, Clarinet Camp covers topics from clarinet assembly and reed care to history and repertoire. Students will be placed in small ensembles to play clarinet-only repertoire which will be featured in a final performance at the end of the week for family and friends. During small ensemble rehearsals and classes, well discuss clarinet specific topics including: how the reeds/mouthpieces/ligatures we choose affect our performance, various styles of clarinet playing, the acoustics and history of the instrument and emergency repair. They are all part of a new camp theme, integrating science and art, for the inventive imaginations of your child. Taking CuriOdysseys observational approach to science, campers will engineer with shapes, document patterns in nature, and find symmetry all around them. Campers will do as DaVinci did hundreds of years ago and explore their curiosity and stretch their creativity.
