Albany Gems Summer Youth Dance Camp - Albany, OR
The Gems are hosting their 2nd Annual Summer Dance Camp on July 16-17th, 2016. This is a two day camp for 1st - 8th grade dancers of all abilty and skill levels. All classes will be held in the main facility at the Albany Boys and Girls Club. Both days will run from 8:00am - 3:00pm. This give LOTS of time for parents to get some stuff done while we entertain your kiddos! Classes will be split up by level and experience so that everyone is in a class they are comfortable with. Classes will be divided into Mini, Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced. Class descriptions will be posted later in the comments. Dancers will stretch and warm up together, learn a entire camp dance, learn level appropriate dance routines, practice technical skills that apply to all dancers, and dancers will be given snack and lunch breaks both days. At the end of the second day (3:00pm) there will be a family and friends show so that your dancers can show you what they've been working on. We have INCREDIBLE instructors coming from ALL over the State of Oregon to give your kiddos the BEST experience possible! ...

We need to have a camp meeting since Mid-Winter was cancelled . Anyone that would like to help with the camp in anyway we would like for you to come to the meeting so we will all be in the loop. Kid's Clinic offered every other week on Wednesdays in the summer months for Kid's (riders 18 and younger) to learn how to wakeboard or wakesurf with Lake Hopatcong Marine. ALL LEVELS of riders encouraged to join, beginners or expert. LHM provide's top notch instruction from LHMwakeshop team rider, Shaina Kassaleh, and instructions from LHM's in house Wake lesson school, Wake Dreams. All of this, plus water & snacks. From building projects to cooking and science experiments; Camp High-5 will blend traditional summer games, art & crafts with exciting, indepth, hands on theme based projects. High-5 is moving to a new location on site at Red Morton Community Center, with its very own fenced in playground and in room bathrooms. Come & taste the adventure! Campers will explore some basic cooking techniques and create their own culinary masterpieces from around the world.
