Week 7: Art on the Wild Side (Ages 5-7) - Ann Arbor Art Center
Do you love all creatures great and small?! Take a walk on the wild side and join us as we find inspiration in the vibrant colors, exotic patterns, and unusual shapes found in the world?s most amazing animals, birds, and bugs. Campers will: * Use patterns, colors, and shapes found in animals, birds, or bugs to inspire a work of art * Zoom in on a tiny detail of a creature to create a stunning abstract drawing or painting * Create your own fake bug collection! No real bugs involved! Draw or sculpt a stunning array of cool critters. * Attempt to capture the elusive giant sloth. We are certain it is in the Art Center somewhere? moving very slowly! Wright Skills Girls Basketball Camp, Grades 3-12 - South Orange Middle School
Wright Skills Basketball Camp is a camp for girls entering grades 3-12 in September, 2016. The camp will focus on basketball fundamentals. Players will be grouped according to age and/or skill level. Activities will challenge players to improve their agility, develop their offensive and defensive skills, and build confidence. Each player will receive a camp T-shirt, an evaluation and compete for prizes. This camp meets from 9am to 12pm, Monday through Thursday, July 25-28 and/or August 1-4. Players are invited to attend one or two weeks. The camp will take place at the South Orange Middle School Gym. This camp is under the direction of Jazmine Wright. Jazmine was a 4 year varsity letter winner at Columbia High School. Her team won two Essex County Championships, 2 State Championships, and a berth at the Tournament of Champions final. During her time at Columbia, she became the all-time leading scorer (male or female) and leading rebounder for the girls? team. She garnered All-Area, All-Conference, All-County, All-State, and All-America honors while playing at Columbia. Mater Dei Girls Volleyball Camp will be a two week camp focusing on technical development along with team play. The first week will go over the fundamentals of all the skills while the second week focuses more on overall team dynamics. 714-754-7711

Childrens Marine Discovery WK7 PM - Eckerd College
Let us introduce your child to the wonders of the bay area! Students learn about plants, animals, and ecosystems that are found in their own back yards! Each day focuses on a specific topic, such as marine mammals, marine birds, invertebrates, fish, and the marine environment. Students will explore the different environments on campus, search for dolphins and manatees in the waters adjacent to Eckerd College, identify birds and other creatures they see, get acquainted with critters in our touch tank and learn specifics in the classroom through discussions, presentations, and crafts. 727-864-8288
