We all know that the YMCA has been around for years. But instead of a outdated program, the summer day camp was fun and fresh. Between the swimming, the sports and the crafts our kids were certainly kept busy. Not once did we hear, "I'm bored!" That's a huge change of pace for them. Let your little Picasso show off her/his creativity with hands-on art projects! Create tons of art, ooey gooey messes and MORE! Please make sure your little artist is dressed for getting a little messy. Snack is included each day. Preschool camps are at the Stephen C. West Ice Arena this year! Make it a full-day, full-week camp! Campers ages 5 and up attending morning camps may attend BMC [] in the afternoon for half-price and/or attend the Wednesday field trips. Journey to the Jungle is a week long camp that explores the classic story The Jungle Book! Our students of all ages will learn songs that take us on a journey through the jungle with Mogli and Baloo and the classic characters. This camp will integrate classic and contemporary scenes, songs, dances both from from the movie and beyond into our own version of The Jungle Book! In visual arts, they will explore sets, costumes, and prop elements this engaging tale of growing up and friendship! Camp will end in an informal presentation to showcase the fun had camp!
