Art on the Wild Side July 11th-15th 9am – 4pm (Ages 5 – 11) Monday – Friday Unleash your expressive side at our Art extravaganza camp. Come color with the chameleons, paint with our pythons and craft with our crocodilians. Each day will feature a different Art project that will include etched nature juice glasses, no sew animal print pillows, paper mache tropical birds, woven place mats, polymer clay pens, under the sea painting and more! Throughout the week, we will display the campers masterpieces in our very own EcoAdventures Art Show. Color your summer with the coolest Art camp around town! Explore popular styles of dance including hip hop, ballet, jazz, lyrical and modern while making friends and staying in shape! Wear clothes that allow for movement, and bring any dance shoes you have. Advanced Robotics with LEGO EV3-Gayton Baptist - Gayton Baptist Church
Using LEGOs New EV3 Space Challenge Set and Activity Pack, campers are introduced to robotics with a very current and real-world theme, traveling to and living on Mars! Campers will work as scientists and engineers as they progress through a set of lessons, challenges, and projects that fully integrate science, technology, engineering, and math concepts, while prompting creative problem solving, communication, and teamwork. Campers will learn the basics of gears to help them apply physical science and math principles to build effective robots. They will also progress through a series of missions in which they investigate, observe, calculate, and apply their knowledge to solve specific tasks. Our space engineers will conduct research as they explore, plan, and develop three fundamental challenges NASA engineers and scientists are working to solve: How to endure humans can survive in space; how humans can create energy in space; and how robots can help humans explore space. 678-294-9504
Week 6: Northwoods Adventure - Camp Tanadoona
An adventure trip of a lifetime. Our Northwoods Adventure Camp at Camp Bluewater is the ultimate outdoor camping experience. Campers will find the each bend of Bluewater Lake beautiful and inviting as they canoe and portage a chain of lakes within the Chippewa National Forest. Campers will gain confidence in their Outdoor Living Skills and deepen their relationship with nature. Friendships made on this trip are forever, and the memories youll make are to be treasured. Start the week at Tanadoona! Together campers will prepare meals and map out their journey with two certified Northwoods Specialists. Next, well hit the road and journey to Camp Bluewater just past Grand Rapids, MN. Adventurers spend the night at Camp Bluewaters lodge then embark in the morning on a 4-day canoe and camping trip through a chain of lakes. 612-235-7284
