Come to Game On Sports in the Harrington McLaughlin Athletic Center and have some physical education fun. Campers will participate in multiple sports and small-sided games. We have numerous options for your child to have a positive sports experience. Campers will participate in the following activities during the summer: soccer, softball, baseball, track and field, handball, volleyball, tennis, basketball, bowling, lacrosse, flag football, floor hockey, Frisbee games, parachute, hula-hoops and orienteering. Lasting Memories
This was the first time our daughter was going away for the summer and we were understandable cautious but optimistic. Doing the research on Brewster before signing up helped because there were so many positive reviews. I'm happy to report they lived up to those reviews in so many ways. The summer will be gone before we know it, but we are still galloping full speed ahead which is why Tomten Farm and Sanctuary will be offering a special mentoring program to animal loving kids ages 11-16. This unique program is designed for kids with the desire to learn more about the day-to-day operations of an animal sanctuary and get hands on experience with our rescues. Taught by our long term volunteer and intern, UNH Equine Science major, Aileen W., it’s sure to be chock of personal attention, education, hard work, and more animals than you can count. Join us at the farm 2-3 weekdays from July 10th to the 31st, 10:30-2:30 and help us go above and beyond to maintain happy, healthy animals 365 days a year. As always, safety comes first so please wear appropriate footwear and clothing (closed toed, hard shoes, bug spray and sunscreen) and bring a signed release, a copy parent/guardian license or federal ID (feel free to black out addresses, birth dates, and SS or S numbers) drinks, lunch, and an appetite to contribute and get involved with one of your favorite rescues! Pulse Dance Team - Summer Intensive Camp - Seattle Preparatory School
The Pulse Dance Team Summer Intensive is a training camp for our current members and all Seattle Prep students who are interested in joining the 2016-17 team. The dancers will be learning an array of hip hop styles including high energy and acrobatics, hard hitting isolations, and even lyrical hip hop. We will also be learning core techniques and skills in dance such as improvisation, conditioning of the body, learning choreography faster and how to give quality performances. Kids Cooking Camp - Grand Junction Parks and Recreation
This is a tentative activity. Registrations will be accepted if it becomes official.Kids will learn kitchen safety, safe food handling, and how to follow a recipe. For high school players only. Increase your scoring ability from the service line. HS Serving Mini-Camp will reinforce fundamentals while focusing on advanced serving strategies and techniques. TEE IT UP at Tunxis - Tunxis Fore Driving Range
The Tee it Up Program is for never-ever golfers or those with little to no swing experience. Introduce your child to the game of golf in a low-stress environment. No clubs necessary or prior golf experience necessary. Tee it Up is held on a weekly basis for 1 hour at both SWG locations. We recommend at least four (4) Tee It Up Classes before an evaluation for our Medalist Program. YOU MAY SELECT YOUR ACTUAL CLASSES FROM THE SCHEDULE STARTING MARCH 1. CLASSES ARE HELD AT TPC ON SATURDAYS FROM 9-10AM AND AT TUNXIS ON SATURDAYS FROM 2-3PM. Scratch Programming - Hopkins Campus
Scratch is dynamic and intuitive programming software that enables students to animate scenes, create interactive games and more. Students will learn and review basic programming principles and design creative animations and simple, fun games. They will explore how variables, lists and sensing blocks can create more complex, interactive programs.
