Exciting Activities For Girls
This camp for girls is an excellent way to get your daughter out into nature in order to enjoy so many fun activities. My daughter went horseback riding, swimming, sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and did arts and crafts and learned a lot about musical theater. She had such a great time. The cabins were nice, the staff is excellent, and she took away so much from her experience there. She can’t wait to go back next summer.... Read More...

-Discount on Full Semester Purchase- At KidzArt, we believe that creativity exists in everyone and can be taught. KidzArt helps students develop skills that enhance other areas of academics and personal expression. The younger we can begin a students creative journey, the better! The ‘language of art begins with the recognition of lines and shapes. We show preschoolers how these lines and shapes can fit together to create a complete whole. Much of DISCOVER! centers around teaching our preschoolers to slow down and relax, to focus, and to see how the world around them is put together. KidzArt drawing lessons focus on process. Students use markers and quality drawing paper with basic introduction to properly using other media such as chalk and oil pastel. All media is non-toxic. Location: Upstairs in the chapel. Summer Stretch Yoga Camp: Circus Theme - Marine Park Building
Weekly Theme: Circus Balance like a palm tree, roar like a lion, and stretch like a giraffe in this fun-filled yoga camp! Camp begins with a 40 minute class where students learn new poses and breathing techniques each day on an imaginary yoga adventure. Class ends by relaxing with peaceful music. After class, the excitement continues with yoga stories and games, a break for lunch, and a creative take-home art activity. Art projects are yoga themed and will relate to the poses learned that day. Fun activities throughout the week include parachute games, treasure hunts, outdoor craft time, face painting, and more! Yoga has been shown to improve focus, confidence, and coordination in children. Please bring a snack, lunch, and water. Prerequisite: Hartley Level 2 or equivalent learn to sail class Lets go Sailing....Grab a partner or sail solo in this exciting class designed to get kids on the water as quickly as possible. This class is the perfect opportunity for students who know how to sail, who want to get out there, to simply go sailing. Students are introduced to more advanced sailing techniques, basic navigation and will work on improving their overall comfort with sailing around Stonington Harbor and Fishers Island Sound. Hartley 12s will be the primary boats for this class. Students may also be introduced to sailing 420s and Sonars as part of the class. 860-535-9362
