2016 Goalkeeper Premier Academy Soccer Camp - Steamboat Springs, Colorado
The Premier Goalkeeper Academy is designed with the dedicated and aspiring goalkeeper in mind. 9-Days of intense Goalkeeper training will elevate each players skills to the next level. Participants will participate within the Goalkeeper Performance Academy Session 1 and then continue their development into Goalkeeper Performance Academy Session 2 and incorporating a progression of training topics and concepts. SSA staff coaches work with an attention-to-detail approach that insures maximum development. Additionally, teaching aspiring habits for total peak performance, learning new recovery and rejuvenation protocols, and how to better manage the demands of top-level athletic training and competition. Finally, off field activities will be incorporated with choices such as Paddelboarding, yoga, mountain bike ride on Steamboats Mt Werner, zip lining and more. The Premier Academy is a 100% residential camp. Campers stay at the Colorado Mountain College campus in the dorms each night. This adventure camp allows participants to gain a sense of accomplishment by attaining goals in a unique historical setting and diverse natural environment. Daily camp themes include (1) Explorers & Mapping, (2) Pioneer-Farmers & Agriculture, (3) Millers & Mechanics, (4) History Detectives, and (5) Artist-Naturalists & Ecology. Among other activities, Day 1 includes a hike around the park, orienteering exercises and a canoe float; Day 2 includes a planting activity and visits to a local organic farm and the State Farmers Market; Day 3 includes a mill tour and an inventors workshop with simple machines; Day 4 includes a group mystery to solve and a road trip to the NC Museum of History; and Day 5 includes wildlife studies and sketching, pond dipping with nets and cane pole fishing. This program is almost full.
