Great Family Camp
My girls love Camp Wayfarer and we go every year. It is an action packed camp for both girls and boys. They really cater to families, too. My girls really love the dance activities, but they also learned a lot in the environmental and marine biology portions. They rode horses, learned a lot about the performing arts, they learned tennis this year and next year they want to get more into golf. Documentary Teen Camp - Houston, TX
Young film enthusiasts learn how to make documentaries in a safe and fun environment. Learn story development, camera operation, lighting, sound, interviewing, editing and work with a real orchestra to score your final film. Invite your friends and family to watch your final documentary on screen. The campers will work with the music students in the film scoring program during the AFA's 2016 Summer Music Conservatory at Pershing Middle School. Java Programming Part II - The Digital Arts Experience
This course assumes basic knowledge of Java and applies it to the Processing environment. This allows students to use Java to express themselves in a more creative format with easy-to-use graphical capabilities. Students can choose to either make artistic projects with a narrative or an interactive game. This class will help grow the students understanding of Java, as well as how to incorporate new libraries and methods. It will challenge the students to be inventive with not only how to solve problems, but also with the creative direction of their projects.
