LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Engineering - Build It! - Middle School
This course is being offered in conjunction with the Webb Institute in Glen Cove: a private engineering college that offers a dual major in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. Students work individually or in teams to design and build a boat that serves a specific mission. Each team is given a list of materials and then must collaborate on the design and construction of their boat. Student volunteers from Webb will assist the teams in applying engineering and physics to enhance the design of their projects. The week culminates with a field trip to the Webb Institute, where students get to test their construction skills under various conditions, tour their amazing facility, and visit the Robinson Model Basin to put their designs to the test by completing numerous challenges. Dear friends in Christ! The Living Spring camp would like to cordially invite you to the 2016 Youth Winter Bible Camp at The Ark Christian Ministries in Converse, Indiana December 27-31, 2016! We truly look forward to this event as another opportunity for us all to share our time together at this beautiful place where you can catch up with one another, have sports, games and fun, and most importantly, have an invaluable opportunity to go deep in the Word of God and give praise to our Lord Jesus Christ!
