MS Winter Camp - Walla Walla, WA
Get ready for Trinity Youth's 18th annual Middle School Winter Camp! This weekend will be filled with good food, great friends, and whole lot of fun. Our goals for this camp are: 1. To build strong student-leader relationships 2.To build strong peer relationships 3.To meet students right where they are—helping them take that next step in knowing Jesus better. Oh, and there is also possibility of having a lot of fun, too! Students and leaders will be leaving from Trinity at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, February 12th (dinner not provided). From the church, we will drive 45 minutes south to Meadowood Springs. Everyone will be staying the next two nights at the retreat center there. We will be back at Trinity by 12:00 p.m. on Sunday the 14th. The cost of camp is $105. This cost covers travel, lodging, food and fun. To secure your free Winter Camp 2016 t-shirt, get your registration and $25 non-refundable deposit by Sunday, January 17th! After this date, all registrations will be charged an additional $15 late fee. All registrations and full payments are due by Sunday, February 7th. Summer / Adventure Camp Registration - Solon, OH
The Solon Recreation Department offers two day camps that run in conjunction with one another. The Summer Camp is for pre-kindergarten to fourth graders (child must be at least 5 years old and no older than 12 on their first day of camp). The Adventure Camp is for current fifth & sixth graders (child must be 12 years old or younger on their first day of camp). Camp consists of sports, swimming, activities, field trips and much, much more. The schedules and activities are age appropriately planned. This is a mandatory final camp meeting for all parents of kids who will be attending Kid's Camp this year. We will meet directly following 2nd service in the Gen Kids Room. Learn basic navigation to participate in the fun hobby of Kayak Geocaching! Geocaching is a real life treasure hunt using a device that has GPS. Use charts, compasses, navigation, and GPS to track your kayak path. Make an item to let other geocachers know weve discovered a particular treasure, participate in the first ever NESS geocache kayak trail and go geocaching in different locations around Stonington and beyond! SAT 1/2 DAY ZOO CAMP - SPIDER MONKEYS 9-12 YRS - CHARLES PADDOCK ZOO
Come connect with the animals and learn what they like to do for fun! This exciting camp teaches the importance of enrichment. Enrichment is anything that encourages the animals to make choices, exhibit natural or species-appropriate behaviors. It also presents mental challenges for the animal, encourages physical activity/exercise and enhances their overall health and well-being. Our campers will discover what type of enrichment is best for each animal, create it and then watch the animal ambassador enjoy it! (if time allows, you can make your own take-home enrichment for the animals in your own backyard). Please bring a refillable drink container and a sack lunch. Snacks will be provided.
