Session 1: No Place Like Home - Young Naturalists - The Hitchcock Center for the Environment
CAMP Do you know who is living in your backyard and beyond? Come explore a variety of habitats in our community- fields, farms, and forest – and find out who and what is living and thriving there. Well discover fascinating connections among the plants, animals and humans where we live. Through hands-on experiences within these habitats, mixed with stories, songs, games and crafts, we will build our sense of place as we investigate where our food comes from, the human and natural history of this place, how our ecosystems work, and all about the many creatures who all call this place home. 4132566006.0

Wildlife Explorers One-Day Camp - Harris Nature Center
For children going into 4th, 5th & 6th grade Kids will connect with animals as they explore their habitats, find evidence of their passing, spend time getting to know the HNC critters and even have the chance to help with feeding them. They will also play games and enjoy nature activities. This 18 week class explores the elements of musical techniques within African drumming including understanding poly-rhythms, composition, melody, harmony, tones, pitches, bases, improvisations and arrangements. This class introduces the role of music in the African Culture. SummerART Camp Full Day Studio Art Program 9:30am to 5pm Studio Art with Lego Animation Session V: August 22 to August 26 (One week only) Studio Art Camp Days of Summer Campers will explore themes of summertime fun. We will discuss campers favorite things about summer, from swimming, camping, and hiking, to fun family vacations. Campers artwork will be inspired by these topics, conversations, and themes, with an emphasis on learning about painting, drawing, and sculpting techniques, to name a few.
