The all skills camp covers all aspects of the game of volleyball with an emphasis on fundamentals. The techniques and skills taught in this camp are designed to provide a strong foundation that allows players to develop into high level athletes as they continue to play. All skills will be covered including passing, setting, hitting, defense, blocking, serving as well as offensive and defensive systems. Every registration requires full payment. A $50 fee will be retained on all cancellations for any reason to cover credit card fees and administrative expenses. The remaining amount will be credited back to ones account if paid by credit card. If paid by check, the University will cut a check back to the original payee. For prompt processing, refund requests should be made prior to the start of camp. A pro-rated fee system will be in effect for those campers only attending partial days of camp. Tennis with Coach Rock PK (Wednesday) - Janney Elementary School
Your childs first experience with tennis will be great fun-- Coach Joce- lyn Rock will be using slower-moving and lower-bouncing balls as well as using a smaller court size with lower net. Her goal is to help young children gain confidence in tennis faster and realize the joy of sports. We will work on hand-eye coordination, tennis strokes, and cooperative play. Children will need their own sized 19-21 racquets or Coach Rock will have some to purchase. 202-724-8950
High School Team Camp - Yum Center
High school team camp is designed to prepare teams before entering the high school season. Each team will compete in skill training & scrimmages throughout the camp. Camp is open to every high school team and player. Registration will begin at 10:00am on July 10th at Threkheld Hall. The first session will begin at 1:00p on July 11th. The last day (July 13th) of camp will end at 12:00p. HIGH SCHOOL FEE-$250 U of L provides a head coach to train your team for the duration of camp. This fee allows one high school coach to accompany the team with meals & lodging included. The school fee is non-refundable & due by May 15th to secure a spot for your team. This fee is separate & does not go towards the camper fees.
