Charly Cardboard Mini Camp - Gallatin, TN
School is out and Charly Cardboard is coming! This class will give the vision and skills to get students to begin the creative process of using something as simple as leftover cardboard into something artistic and maybe even practical. In two days - 4 hours per day - students will get hands on instruction and come out with a completed project like the one below. Lot's of fun. Visual artist and film maker David Wilson in collaboration with Actors Point Theatre Company will conduct this amazing class. Limited space available. Teen Week Overnight Camp - Fort Worth, TX
At YMCA Camp Carter Overrnight Camp, campers live, play and build deep bonds with their peers. Campers must rely on the others in their cabin groups to share daily responsibilities. Each cabin is led by a senior counselor with overnight camp experience and each unit is led by an upper class college student studying education, recreation or another appropriate field of study. Campers will spend time with their cabin group, making new friends, exploring the property and participating in all kinds of fun activities like climbing the 60′ climbing wall or hiking to see Old Man Tucker’s truck. Cabin groups will come together as units during the week and participate in camp fires, cookouts and group competitions and games. Everyone in camp will meet for meals, messages and devotions and to sing camp songs at the top of their lungs. YMCA Camp Carter Overnight Camp runs from Sunday afternoon until Friday evening and includes 15 meals and overnight accommodations in a fully climate controlled cabins with lots of supervision by our well trained staff.

If you don't have one you can rent one for $10 total for both days. (I can also give you suggestions on great machines that don't break your budget) Summer Camps - First Camp begins June 6th and then there are many more during the summer! COURSE Campers will be using a software program from MIT called Scratch. The program was designed for children, and teaches them the basics of programming as they create animated stories, video games, and interactive artwork. Using colorful programming blocks, campers drag and snap together the blocks to make a character (Sprite) walk, speak, play music, or interact with other sprites. 404-932-2552

This is a fundamentally-based camp for boys and girls ages 6-13; focusing on skill development through daily drill periods, contests, and competitive games. Instruction is provided by High School coaches and current and former college basketball players. Camp Director, Brett McFall, is an Olathe South High School grad and 1997 Mr. Kansas Basketball. Brett was a 4-year player at the University of Wyoming (1997-2001) and played professionally in Europe and the USA (2002-2004). He has 13 years of coaching experience and is currently the head coach at Shawnee Mission South High School. Each participant will receive a camp t-shirt.
