This summer we will be going to camp on week 10. That will be August 3rd – 8th. The evangelist will be Tom Farrell. Every teen and junior is invited to join us for summer camp. Teen campers must be 12 years old by September 1, 2015 and junior campers must be at least 9 years old by September 1, 2015. Solids, Liquids, Gases, Oh My! Have you ever wondered how to make a liquid grow spikes? Or why your cookie recipe needs baking soda? Or how to make liquid water that is colder than ice? This is the camp to get those answers all while having fun. Students will experiment with safe, hands on projects and games exploring the tiniest bits of matter. Each day we will look at a different topic of chemistry and have several activities and experiments related to that topic. Some topics may include food chemistry. Chris Dudley Basketball outdoor camp accepts boys and girls between the ages of 10 through 17 who have an interest in basketball and also have type 1 diabetes. We have 45 staff members to oversee our campers diabetes needs and basketball skills to help them strive toward achieving their dreams and goals. Our staff consists of two endocrinologists, day and night nurses, a trained dietitian, sixteen day/night counselors, eleven coaches and other important staff to oversee camp.
