The Southern Union Pathfinder Camporee is a gathering of youth in grades 5-12 which takes place every 4 years. Our theme for the 2016 Camporee is Jesus for Me! This event is open to official clubs and their members in good standing with their local conference.

Parents: come get a free meal and buy desserts. Students: make your best dessert and come sell it at the dessert auction.
Basketball Kid Camp - Summerville, GA
The Chattooga High School Boys’ Basketball Team is hosting our annual basketball camp for boys and girls in Kindergarten – 8th grade in the beatiful new gym! Camp Dates: Monday, July 18th – Thursday, July 21st Time: The camp will begin each morning at 9:00 a.m. and will run through 12:00 p.m. each day. Cost: $30 per camper. Each camper will receive a t-shirt. Campers will also receive lunch each day. Kids can be signed up the morning of the first day of camp (next Monday, the 18th) beginning at 8:30 a.m. Registration forms/payments may also be dropped off with Amanda Larkins at CHS Tuesday-Friday this week between 9:00 and 3:00. We will post the registration form on the page in case anyone wants to print and complete it in advance. We will accept cash and/or checks made payable to CHS Boys' Basketball.

Hey there campers! We will be having a retreat out at camp for 6TH-12TH GRADE! Arrival time is at 6:30. We will be doing dinner that evening and then have a lot of games and activities planned. Brunch will be served the next morning. Check out time will be by 11:00am on Saturday. The cost is $10 per person. If your youth group plans to attend please have your Youth Leader get a hold of me. Invite your friends and let us know that you are coming so we can make plans! We are so excited about this evening and are looking forward to seeing each of you there! Build a World - Star Wars & Minecraft - Ohlook Performing Arts Center
What new adventures await you in a world of your own creation! Using visual arts, students will transform their camp space into the world of Minecraft and then portray characters from Star Wars to inhabit the land. Become a Jedi Knight, a member of the Empire, or an unencountered alien race and work as an ensemble to devise the next episode of the Star Wars saga. 817-421-2825

Beginning architects and design students all have to do it: design and build a custom chair. The trick is to design a chair that is just right for you – one that can hold your soda, stash your DVDs, rest your feet, rock back & forth, look like a piece of art – or all of the above. In this class students will create one-of-a-kind, awesome art to wear. Paint a T-shirt, jeans or jacket with instructions on using fabric paint, textile design and color coordination. Next, knit or crochet a scarf, vest, tote bag or purse and learn to bead and embroider designs on the finished project. Bring your own clothes to paint! Participants will work together using pi to try to open an ancient chest filled with treasure!! The chest is protected by a passcode that can only be determined through the activities within the lesson. Enjoy a progressive exposure to pi through this two-part lesson (total 110 minutes) offering a FUN storyline within the context of geometry and circles. With "pi-day" right around the corner, this hands-on, fun, inquiry-based lesson is sure to be a hit with your budding mathematicians. (630)9075950
