Our program offers children a wide variety of developmentally appropriate academic, innovative, technological, physical and socially expansive activities that support the personal growth of all its participants. Boys Basketball - Session 2 - Notre Dame Preparatory School and Marist Academy
Where: NDP main gym About: The focus of the Notre Dame Prep boys basketball camp is to provide every participant the opportunity to develop his fundamental skills in ball handling, passing, dribbling, footwork and rebounding, as well as individual and team defense. We will accomplish this through a high-energy camp of hard work. Additionally, it is our hope that with the assistance of our experienced teaching staff, all of the young men attending NDP basketball camp will improve their conceptual understanding of the game of basketball. With a staff-to-player ratio of 1 to 9, we can guarantee each player individual attention throughout the week. We also look forward to each participant meeting and making new friends while having plenty of fun and enjoyment over the four days of camp. Please note our new cancellation policy. Wright Denny Day Camp - Jefferson County Parks and Recreation Commission
Spend your summer vacation with us! Wright Denny Day Camp offers 2 trips to the Jefferson Memorial pool per week and weekly themed crafts and activities. T-shirt is included in camp price. Camp hours are 8:00am-4:00pm. Cost for camp is $95 per week (4th of July week is $76).Full payment is due at time of registration. Parent or guardian MUST complete a camp registration form as well a health form for each child they are registering. STATE LICENSING DISCLAIMER: Due to state law regulations we are required to limit the number of days a child is allowed to attend summer day camps, or any camp lasting more than 6 hours. Children may only attend these camps for 30 days during the summer (consecutive or non-consecutive). ADDITIONAL CAMP INFORMATION: Lunch: Campers will need to bring their own lunch and beverage to camp every day. Refrigeration is not available. Small coolers or ice packs are recommended. Young Explorers Summer BLAST! - 3 weeks (1st Grade) - Oakwood
For children entering 1st grade: YOUNG EXPLORERS SUMMER BLAST! at Oakwood is an afternoon program designed specifically to engage young children (ages PreK –1st grade) in activities that will unlock their imagination. When Young Explorers pass through the class- room door, they will instantly be launched into new and exciting worlds. One day the children may discover that they are knights who have been trusted to protect the castle from re-breathing dragons, and the next they may find that they have been transformed into a pit crew on the side of a great auto speedway. Children may find themselves on the infamous Jolly Roger, swabbing the deck and walking the plank, or they may discover that they are astronauts flying past the Milky Way. The possibilities are endless at Young Explorers Summer BLAST!! Young Explorers Summer BLAST! is run by creative and enthusiastic adult teachers who are assisted by junior counselors.
