TECH IT OUT- Robotics WeDo Makers 2.0 will make STEM come to life through hands-on tasks, real-world projects, and relevant technology that engages students. Working in small teams, campers understand how scientific investigation and reasoning allows them to use critical thinking and problem solving to make informed decisions and draw conclusions by designing models that represents how something works or looks that cannot be seen. Through project-based activities, students skills are enhanced across science, engineering, technology, and coding. Repurposed Junk and Upcycled Funk - Ned Smith Center for Nature & Art
This camp is overflowing with creative uses for everyday objects. We will make instruments, art, and gadgets from seemingly useless items. Straws arent just for drinking, balloons arent just for parties, and old cardboard has more uses than you can imagine. We will be thinking outside the box and learning some fun science along the way in this trash to treasure adventure.
