All About Me: Self Portraiture 3-5 (Monday) - Janney Elementary School
Students will learn how to create images of themselves while making self-portraits. They will practice close observation with mirrors as well as correct use of proportion, shading, and tone. Projects include realistic self-portraits in which students will attempt to achieve likeness and ab- stract portraits inspired by modern artists. Spring Break Art Camp - 8-12 - Indianapolis Art Center
Our Spring Break Art Camps are modeled after our acclaimed Summer Art Camps. Each day, children participate in a variety of art activities including painting, drawing, hand-built ceramics, papermaking, and sculpture! Spring Break Art Camp staff is made up of youth art educators from the Indianapolis community. An instructor and assistant will lead each camp, where the instructor to camper ratio will not exceed 1 to 10 to ensure that each child receives individual attention. Spring Break Art Camp includes a one-hour supervised lunch, play and rest time. All Girls Jr. Elite Residential Camp - Pepperdine University
This camp will focus on all girls, who are looking to take soccer to the next level. There will be multiple training sessions during the day with high level elite coaches. Chess Academy during camp week #3: June 27 - July 1 - Germantown Friends School
National-championship coach Ross Colby will be offering two weeks of intensive chess instruction at Germantown Friends School. Ross has either played on or coached teams that have won national championships in Arizona, North Carolina, & Pennsylvania! Players at this years camp will participate in intensive strategy sessions, tournament games, daily award ceremonies, simultaneous exhibitions, and a speed tournament. At the end of the five-day camp, participants will enjoy a pizza fest and final awards ceremony. Creative Movement and Rhythm Grades PK-1 (Tuesday) - Janney Elementary School
Ms. Pleasance will be leading our youngest students to develop physically, social and emotionally, all while using their bodies. We will integrate stories, music, and yoga.
