Welcome to the world of Mining and Crafting. At this exciting camp your child will craft and create on a lap top computer. Throughout the week, your child will be given exciting building challenges in BOTH the creative and survival mode of MINECRAFT ® BEWARE OF CREEPERS!! Renaissance has hired some mining experts to help your child learn secrets and short cuts that can be taken home for use on their own MINECRAFT® games. A secure server will be provided for their use during this camp. We will focus on several advanced crafting skills such as red-stone wiring, advanced survival tactics and advanced gardening. Campers will participate in a horserace and become paleoentoligists digging for bones to construct a dinosaur. There are new challenges everyday and the excitement builds with each new challenge. Your child will learn to build advanced structures using uncommon building techniques focusing on color schemes roof designs and interior builds. 12 campers so SPACE IS LIMITED! *This camp will also change from week to week so that kids may sign up for more than one camp. 703-244-0585

All Pack Event. Enjoy the wonderful Oregon Coast while working on your rank advancement and our Summertime Pack Award. Exact timing is TBD, but the dates are reserved. I have reserved 30 scout and 10 adults slots. We have time to adjust, but the sooner we get this nailed down the better. I will have a sign up sheet for the next Pack/Den Meeting next Thursday for all those interested in going. There is a fee for this $243/Scout and $115/Adult. We do get a free adult admission for every 6 Scouts that go. At the next Committee Meeting we will discuss how we want to ration that out, either by need, or reduce everyone's cost equally, etc.

In this weeks summer camp children will be taught the fundamentals of wedging and centering on our brand new wheels! They will also work with clay to hand build a picture frame and a mug. This is a great camp to introduce children to clay. This event is for ages 8+

MEGA Sports Camp is a four-day sports camp for kids. Elementary kids (completed kindergarten-fifth grade) choose soccer, baseball, or creative arts (card making and crafts). Kids enjoy two sessions each night to teach critical skills in their sport or activity. Pre-kindergarten students (ages 4 and 5) will enjoy a craft session and a recreation session each evening. But that’s not all! Kids will also enjoy upbeat rallies filled with energetic music, fun sports stories, ultra cool object lessons, and Bible stories that will help them discover character traits that can help them excel in sports and in life. Tennis Champions Camp will mix areas such as stroke technique, shot selection, and court awareness with actual play. Players will receive focused instruction in various areas of tennis, allowing them to develop and improve their overall tennis game.
