MUSICAL (week 2) 2016 - Icicle Creek Center for the Arts
Icicle Creek Center for the Arts, nestled in the Cascade Mountains near Leavenworth, Washington offers an extraordinary overnight or day camp, for aspiring young actors, directors and playwrights ages 10 - 18 years. This camp is a week long training ground where talented students come together to learn from an amazing team of theater professionals working in Seattle, New York and on Broadway. Students will be taken on a journey of self discovery. All classes, master classes and workshops cater to each students specific needs and skill levels by creating a safe and nurturing environment for all kids to express themselves creatively through theater. Acting groups are assembled to receive age-appropriate instruction. This program is designed to give young people life-changing experiences in theater instruction, skill acquisition, and the confidence to use them. CIT Retreat - Burnamwood Camp
This event is for any 9th - 12th Grader wishing to serve as a Counselor In Training for summer 2016. It will include leadership training, game leading, Bible Study, campfires and more. Camp begins at 1 p.m. Wednesday and ends at 4 p.m. Friday. 859-494-9113

Camp Shalom LIT - Session IIB - JCC Campus
The Camp Shalom LIT Program (formerly counselor in training) has been redesigned to allow teens a multifaceted experience. The program contains three core components: leadership training, hands-on counselor skills guidance, and fun, social programming. Each two-week session will provide teens the opportunity to experience every facet of working at a summer camp from interacting directly with campers to shadowing activity specialists. Under the supervision of the LIT Assistant Director, LITs will meet as a group regularly to attend workshops specially planned for them. Each LIT will have the opportunity to become CPR and First Aid Certified. Upon successful completion of the LIT Program, participants will receive a minimum of 45 community service hours and are eligible for a higher rate of pay as Assistant Counselors at Camp Shalom. 512-735-8100

Girls will travel back in time by exploring the literature and history behind the American Girl® dolls while also celebrating their inner star! Crafts, movies, field trips, games, and much more will provide the backdrop of girls discovery of the different periods throughout time. Girls will have fun learning about history, choices, and character as they participate in these activities along with their dolls.
