Yoga Fitness, Session A (Grades 3 – 6) - Hopkins Campus
Join us for yoga and fitness fun! This camp includes yoga, movement, music, crafts, group games, projects and story activities. Each day will have its own fun theme and encourage your childs creativity. Yoga brings out the best in kids and teaches positive lessons. Colleen Evon, founder of Fun Sun Kids Yoga and former preschool teacher, is a certified yoga instructor. Lacey Camp (Outdoor) - REGULAR Session 7 - 2016 - City of Hanford
Grades: K - 12th This weeks theme "End of Summer Party / Talent Show Week" Parents, is your child ready to have fun and make new friends this summer? If yes, then bring your child to the coolest hot spot in town. The Lacey Park Day Camp is full of fun activities for children grades K thru 6th. This is an outdoor recreation camp. Campers will learn about the benefits of being physically active; as well as, having a healthy lifestyle in the outdoors. Each week campers will engage in various group games, art projects, participate in a talent show and weekly field trips to the Hanford Teen Center, Hanford Plunge and the local Library. Free breakfast and lunch will be provided. A weekly food menu will be provided at request. If your child has a particular taste, you may consider bringing a sack lunch for your child. The park in the summer is hot, please send your child to the park with a bottle of water and sunscreen. Staff will provide an igloo of cold water for refills. JV/V (10-12 grades) Summer Football Camp - Seattle Preparatory School
The Seattle Prep, Varsity Football coaching staff is hosting an 11 day football camp for all returning JV or Varsity players, as well as any 10th-12th grade students interested in joining our football family. We strongly encourage all who intend to participate in football in the fall, attend this camp. Although the camp is a total of 25 days, we will only practice a total of 11 times. This allows for us to work around graduation, finals, and provide rest between practice days. This camp will provide our first opportunity for our new coaching staff to begin developing relationships with our players, teach philosophy and leadership skills, as well as install basic offensive, defensive, and special teams schemes that we will use in the fall. The emphasis of this camp will focus on teaching fundamental skills, general installs, and the More Than Winning philosophy of our program. The staffs goal is to provide each camper with a fun and exciting month of football, as we prepare for Team Camp, and the upcoming football season.
