The North Alabama Congregational Holiness Church Christian Education Department would like to announce our 2015 Youth Camp. This event will be June 21st thru June 25th, our theme this year is Camp Discovery "Jesus at work through us". The early registration will be at our Giant Youth Rally, June 6th, 2015, this year the fee will be $65 on this day and $70 if you wait until the day of, so register early and save $5.00. Our speaker will be Reverend Jason Lee, a former camper and a outstanding minister for both the young and the young at heart. There will be classes for all ages and under 6 must be accompanied by an adult or guardian. Your Pastor or Youth Pastor will have detailed information for you on Sunday. Summer Session - Athletic Development 2016 #3 - Killington Mountain School
Hello, We are very excited to announce the launch of the all-new KSC and KMS Summer Sessions. The Summer Sessions will be focused on athletic development, coaching our young athletes in multi-sport environments that will help develop athletic literacy and capacity in a fun-filled setting. Our Summer Sessions will be directed by Gar Trayner, Olympian, former World Cup coach and current Director of Athlete Development at Killington Mountain School. We have collaboration with iSport and Vermont Orthopaedic to supplement our sports-specific content and act as medical advisors and supporters. In addition to this we will have world class national team and collegiate athletes and coaches delivering our sessions to provide a cutting edge experience for young athletes. We are introducing a brand-new calendar of exciting sessions this summer with Athletic Conditioning Camps, Summer Action Sport Camps and Cyclocross, Road Biking and Mountain Bike Camps available. Athletic Conditioning Camps Athletic Conditioning Camps are for active kids, ages 10-18, from any sporting background. Our camps will use a multi-sport approach utilizing pioneering techniques and workouts that are both fun and effective. Our Fredericksburg Adventure day camp for 7-14 year old runs Mon-Fri from 8:30 to 4:30. We have designed the camp to teach the entire process of fishing from rigging rods, tying knots, canoeing, baiting hooks, all while introducing campers to the great wealth of fishing opportunities the area has to offer from area ponds and lakes to the Rapidan and Rappahannock Rivers. 804-272-6362
Alto Sax: Middle School Band - University of Texas at Austin
The Middle School Band program is designed to accommodate musicians ranging from the most talented and proficient to the less experienced, with a minimum of one year of training on their chosen instrument. It is open to entering grades 7, 8 or 9. The concert bands are conducted by outstanding band directors from around the state. This session provides an excellent opportunity for young musicians to improve their individual performance skills. Instruction includes rehearsals, sectionals, master classes, supervised practice, and optional private lessons.
