Bring your young adult to Creve Coeur Camera for a fun filled experience and learn photography from the Pros. 3 SESSIONS - 3 Hours each FEBRUARY 11, 18 & 25 Week One We will cover the basics of photography; exploring Olympus camera settings, Exposure fundamentals of ISO, shutter speed and aperture, Focusing techniques and composition rules. Week Two Practical applications of what you learning in the first week. We will have photo “sets” in the classroom for you to practice and Explore shutter and aperture (f-stop) techniques as you learn about the “appropriate” lighting on your subject. Week Three Learn the basics of Adobe Lightroom; the photo editing software the Professionals use and how to enhance your images. You will edit some Images and choose one favorite that we will print and hang in our “Photo Gallery”. It will stay on our wall for 30 days and then you can take it to display on your wall. Ninja Obstacle Academy Huntsville is hosting a Ninja Kids Camp to support Kaitlyn's Running for Joy Fundraiser! The 3hr camp will cost $40 per child ages 6 and up! (The registration page says 7 and up but that is being changed) 50% of all proceeds will be donated to Kaitlyn's Running for Joy, Joy Jar fundraiser! There will be 40 slots available for this camp! Teen Camp 9-4pm wk 5 - Frankfort Park District
The Frankfort Park District would like to present Teen Adventures Summer Day Camp program for youth entering 7th ? 9th grade in the fall. This full day camp will provide plenty of outdoor activities, water days, arts & crafts, and a field trip each week that a teen will enjoy. Special guests will be invited to this camp including sports, art and science instructors. Teen Adventures Summer Day Camp will be held at Commissioners Park, located at 22108 S. 80th Avenue in Frankfort, along with the use of Chelsea Middle School, which is located next to Commissioners Park. Drop off and pick up will take place at Chelsea Middle School, located at 22265S. 80th Ave. The camp will run from 9 ? 4pm, Monday thru Friday, with a before and after care option. Bring a bag pack, lunch and water bottle each day. Lunch may be included on certain field trip days. Registration must be done in person at our main office located at the Founders Community Center, 140 Oak Street. A copy of your child?s birth certificate will be required at the time of registration. Denim and buttons and t-shirts, oh my! In this class campers will make all kinds of upcycled creations using discarded fabrics and sewing notions. Whether theyre an experienced sewer or crafter and enjoy working alongside others OR are interested in learning how to do any/all of these things, this is the class for them. Instructor: Leah Bradley This camp may be combined with: Storytellers, Combined Cost: $290 *** A minimum $50 deposit each camp is due at sign-up (non-refundable). *** The remaining balance is due by first day of camp. 502-241-6018

For children entering 5th or 6th grade: Each day, students will attend six periods with a fifteen-minute recess and snack after third period. They will attend four intellectually stimulating and fun-filled classes including: Brain Booster, Adventures in Art, Science Shakedown, and Fun and Fitness. For the remaining two periods, children may choose between On Stage, a performing arts class which spans two periods, or a Keyboarding and Wild About Writing option.
