Spring Science Camp - 2016 - Pico Park
Let Your Imagination Soar! Spring Science Camp is a fun-packed, one week day camp led by top notch, enthusiastic Recreation Leaders where kids get to have ?Aha!? moments of creativity and discovery while building and playing with unique toys, astonishing gadgets, and fantastic gizmos -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please bring any recycled item for various planned science projects on the first day of Camp. Items can include - soda can, soda / water bottles, newspaper, milk cartons, etc. Field Trip - Griffith Observatory - Wednesday 3/30 Campers must bring a sack lunch daily, and are required to wear a camp t-shirt daily. Day Camp 4 Explorers - Sugar Hollow Camp
The Living Earth Day Camps are a one-of-a-kind nature camp experience. We have been voted a favorite summer day camp for over 7 years!! We will spend the week exploring the mountains, streams and other wild places. Campers work together in small groups learning about the natural world, plants, mammals, tracking, birds, wilderness survival, awareness and so much more. Young Builder (HALF DAY ONLY) - San Juan Del Rio Catholic School
This is the HALF DAY option for Young Builder. Campers ages 4-5 will want to join us to learn exciting construction techniques using LEGO® bricks. Little Builder allows campers to take their first steps into science and engineering. By using the themes of construction and travel, campers learn about machines, the tools used to work on machines, and their functions. Our material packs include a wide range of bricks and special elements in various shapes, sizes, and colors that are ideal for stimulating childrens creative and imaginative skills. Camp counselors will introduce tasks each day in building vehicles, planes, buildings, towns and transportation systems as we work in groups to build a LEGO city! Campers receive lots of suggestions for ideas but are encouraged to use their own creativity and imagination. Stories and games are also incorporated into this camp, perfect for our youngest little campers, ages 4 and 5. Our pre-k half day camps are 9am-1pm with pre camp options available as well! Spartan Quest AM (9-11:30) 1 week 1st-8th grades - Wichita Collegiate School
Instructor: Leddy Summertime fun begins at Spartan Quest, (formerly known as Sports Camp). This class will run for all 10 weeks of summer school giving your camper a consistent, exciting summer daycamp experience. We will spend the mornings doing fun things on campus like; playing games, flying kites, dodge ball, hide-n-seek, flag football, basketball, video games, etc…. We also will build our own fun when we build things like; bow and arrows from PVC pipe, marshmallow shooters, mini-golf-courses, obstacle courses, scavenger hunts, and anything else we can think of! In the afternoon we continue our fun off campus at places like; Tanganyika, ice skating, roller skating, Lazerquest, Watson Park, mini-golf, All-Star Adventures, Water Center, Bug Lady and many more too numerous to mention. This class is designed for students entering 2nd to 8thgrades who are looking for unlimited fun and adventure. Week 2 Little Peakers 4 Half Days AM Westport Summer All Sports Camp - Greens Farms Elementary School
Exclusive Camp for Pre-school Boys and Girls ages 3-5 years old! This camp introduces our little future athletes to a combination of traditional sports games and physical education activities.
