Week Eight: Architecture Camp/Building Bridges (Ages 3-6) - PeaPods SchoolHouse
Campers will use STEM and different materials to engineer, design, and build a bridge. After building their bridge, campers will then test their bridge to see if it is strong enough to hold up an object. Together well build a city full of bridges! 603-703-1408

Treasure Hunt (Half Day 9-12) - Loudoun Arts Center
Yarrrgh, Mateys! Jump aboard the LAC Pirate Ship for the treasure hunt of a lifetime. We set sail for the pool and voyage to Pirates Cove Water Park for swimming and mini-golf. Well learn to sword fight, sing sea chanteys, create pirate flags, and more. 703-444-5888

High School Advanced - Baker Rink (Check-In Location)
The High School Advanced Camp is designed to create a highly competitive environment with the majority of our campers planning on pursuing a college baseball career. Mornings typically concentrate on drills and position work, while the afternoon and evening sessions feature actual games. Check-in will be held Sunday morning with evaluation sessions that morning and afternoon and a skills session that evening. Monday will feature morning skill instruction and games in the afternoon and evening. Tuesday will feature games followed by a late afternoon check-out. The High School Camp has featured representatives from the following schools in past years: Georgetown, Richmond, Lafayette, Brown, Columbia, Bucknell, Wesleyan, Haverford, Swarthmore, Davidson, Franklin & Marshall, University of New Haven, Dickinson, Bates, and Cornell. **The names of coaches in attendance will be given after check-in on Sunday. Musical Theatre & Movement (Saturday) - The Little Theatre of Alexandria
This class is designed for preschool to 2nd grade students. Youngsters will enjoy learning and singing popular childrens musical theatre classics, e.g. The Lion King, Aladdin, Beauty & The Beast, The Little Mermaid, Peter Pan, The Sound of Music. They will also be introduced to simple musical theatre dance steps, all in a gentle, relaxed environment. INSTRUCTOR HEATHER SANDERSON studied classical theatre at RADA in London and prior to moving to Alexandria acted extensively in the San Francisco Bay Area. As "Miss Heather", she is known locally for instilling a love of theatre - in particular Shakespeare - into the hearts of children. Her youth Shakespeare troupes have performed in D.C. and in the U.K. and her privately coached monologue students have performed at the Shakespeare Theatre, the Fords Theatre and numerous community and childrens theatres in the area. Heather may be familiar to fans of British television programs through her Tea with Heather segments on Maryland Public Televisions Afternoon Tea. ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR SARAH LORE is a high school student at West Potomac. She has performed with the Washington National Opera at the Kennedy Center and at the Edinburgh Festival in Scotland.
