Basketball Class - Basketball Camp - Petaluma Community Center
Camp is packed with skills, drills and daily competitions. This camp is designed to make your child a better basketball player. Whether they are a beginner or intermediate player, the drills taught at this camp will help them improve their game. They will learn footwork, passing, ball-handling and defense. Participants will enjoy fun challenges, games and daily competitions in a positive and energetic environment. Summer Camp PM High Performance - Princeton Racquet Club
The high performance camp is conducted for players who are ranked in the district, section or nation. Emphasis will be on continued stroke development with proper biomechanics, shot selection, placement, mastery of spins, knowledge and execution of different tactics, mental toughness and conditioning. Middle School "Budding Stars" Tennis Camp - The Prairie School
A limited number of students who love the game and are willing to work will be enrolled in this class. Students must be entering grades 5 through 8 unless approved by an instructor. Half of the class is instruction and drills, and the other half is supervised play. Again this year, we are excited to offer supervised match­-play on Friday mornings, included in the weekly class fee! -- All classes are held on the Prairie School tennis courts, and class sizes are limited. The primary instructor for tennis is Nich Schafer. Private lessons are also available. In this transformational week, we will incorporate the sacred elements of nature, mindfulness, and ceremony to provide an opportunity for inner blossoming. We will be accessing the ancient wisdom of our ancestral grandmothers, making plant medicines, dying fabrics, and weaving with natural fibers. We will be accessing the deep and profound stillness that allows us to be fully present and fully ourselves. We will be celebrating life through creating earth art and body paints. All the while, the girls will be inspired by one another in a safe and supportive group setting.
