The Second City Advanced Comedy Camp is a fully comprehensive program that dives deep into the skills required to present a Second City-style revue. Curriculum includes training in advanced scenework and long form improvisation as well as additional lessons in clowning, stand-up, and music improvisation. Students will also receive a special track jacket as a souvenir of their summer with Second City. Students will present their stand-up material on the second Friday of the program and a one-act sketch revue on the final day. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Students must submit the Advanced Comedy Camp application, a resume, headshot/photo, and a short essay to be considered for this program to Students will need to have completed at least two 14-week terms of improv training at Second City or at least two sessions in our summer camp program. Kid's Culinary Day Camp at LeTourneau is a wonderful opportunity for kids ages five to thirteen to experience the culinary arts in an exciting and safe Christian environment. Teen Leadership Retreat & MLK Day of Service - Vashon, WA

It's that time of year again!This is the first in our series of Teen Camp service projects for those of you who may need financial assistance in order to go to camp. You must complete this project if you're going to need a half or full scholarship. Don't know if you need a scholarship? Well, even if you have an inkling that you might need one, you should be there. But this project is also open to all, so if you just want to help out, join us! The project will involve cleaning out and sprucing up the public planters along Wentworth Avenue and Cermak Road in Chinatown. The project will begin at 9 AM and end around 1 PM. Crickets, worms, mice, flies, fish,..you never know whats on the menu, but its sure to be gobbled up!! Throughout the day, a few participants at a time will go behind the scenes with the EA staff and assist in animal husbandry and care. Throughout the day the feeding frenzy will continue...you might see a snake swallow its meal whole, a croc do a death roll on its lunch, or a chameleons long tongue rocket out to grab a cricket. Fairytale Storybook Production - Barn Second Floor
Storybook Production is a NEW program developed for young performers that combines a classroom experience and a production! We will develop our own individual characters and create a storyline together, including scenes, songs, and dancing. The production will be based on their favorite Fairytales. Instruction will include basics of vocal projection, stage movement, line memorization, character development and ensemble work. This class is a great introduction to stage acting and a way to help build self confidence, feel part of a supportive community and build performance skills.
