Plainfield West 9 Next Level Camp - Plainfield West 9
Next Level Camp The Next Level PGA Junior Golf Camps are for juniors who have played the game, show advanced skill development and are dedicated to taking their game to the next level. The camp takes a broad approach to cover all aspects of golf, including technology, the mental game and physical fitness. Campers are encouraged to join for at least 2-3 weeks for maximum improvement, but may sign up for individual weeks. Next Level Junior Campers must have a minimum of 2 years playing experience and turn 12 by 6/1/16. Next Level PGA Junior Camps offer small group instruction integrated with supervised course play. Outer Space Adventure with Us and Learn Spanish. Enter the time machine once again and leave earthly worries behind because there is no time like the future to discover what awaits us in other galaxies. Its a strange world of changing realities and campers learn all about how to survive by using their senses. Campers transform into aliens with unique features and devices that help them thrive in outer realms of space. Campers play active & quiet games, create, sing songs, act, dance, cook and discover the joys of learning Spanish while playing sports too. Theme vocabulary includes colors, counting, verbs, nouns, adjectives to describe the power of our senses. Celebration Day Wednesday (participation optional) Campers express their alien spirit with their absurd alien ­inspired hairdo. During camp choice time campers find their alien ‘relatives according to hairstyle and create their unique alien group ‘Survival Guide. Notes: There may be options for arranging late pick up the same day. You will be notified of these options the week prior to camp start. Camp TechTerra™ - Building C
The TechTerraTM curriculum takes two seemingly opposing elements — technology and nature — and brings them together to help children better understand the world around them and the gadgets in their hands, through coding, storytelling and use of digital devices. The camp was developed by Susan Wells, a national leader in STEM, mobile-integrated education and veteran public educator. The curriculum is inspired and informed by STEM, Nature, Maker Ed and Project Based Learning.
