This is an intense week of training designed specifically for premier level or high school age players preparing for the fall competitive season. In addition to daily soccer training, players will also participate in activities designed to improve soccer-specific fitness, including coordination, agility, core stability and strengthening, and speed endurance. Beginning Burlesque with Sasha Sullivan - Ah Haa School for the Arts
Burlesque is a celebration of femininity. Women of all ages come together for a fun-filled journey into this incredible art form, ultimately empowering their creative, sensual, feminine beings. Telluride Theatres own Sasha Sullivan and Melissa Harris, who have been teaching burlesque classes for four years, are excited take new students on an eight-week journey into the world of burlesque. They will start with the basics – the history, dance moves, striptease, creating a character, and owning your space. Students will develop their very own burlesque character and walk away with a full routine, a set of pasties, and a portrait. At the close of the class, some students will be chosen to perform at BURLESQUE, a live variety show on the Sheridan Opera House stage at the end of March, a benefit for Telluride Theatre. Art on the Wild Side - EcoAdventures
Art on the Wild Side July 11th-15th 9am – 4pm (Ages 5 – 11) Monday – Friday Unleash your expressive side at our Art extravaganza camp. Come color with the chameleons, paint with our pythons and craft with our crocodilians. Each day will feature a different Art project that will include etched nature juice glasses, no sew animal print pillows, paper mache tropical birds, woven place mats, polymer clay pens, under the sea painting and more! Throughout the week, we will display the campers masterpieces in our very own EcoAdventures Art Show. Color your summer with the coolest Art camp around town!
