The Young Scientists Camp was created in response to requests by parents to have a science camp for their younger children. All Young Scientist activities meet or exceed the National Science Standards. Fun and excitement is fostered by great lessons and hands-on experiments. This program is designed to meet the needs of children in grades 1-3. "KID CREATOR - MUSIC PRODUCTION for KIDS" (K-4) MONDAY 3:30-4:30 - Westminster School
Instruction provided by: Mix Majors Founder, Eric Jao Description: Kids love music. They sing. They dance. They bang on pots and pans to create rhythms. Kids are natural born music makers. Mix Majors Kid Creator program teaches kids how to make the music they actually listen to. Kids collaborate with each other and their instructor to create their own songs in a fully functioning music studio. Kids participate in all aspects of Music Production, from programming beats, to composing and playing melodies, to writing lyrics and recording vocals. Music Production is audio engineering driven by musical imagination. The Kid Creator program brings kids musical ideas to life while challenging both sides of the brain and exemplifying principles of STEAM (i.e. Science, Tech, Engineering, Arts, and Math). With Kid Creator, kids build confidence and self-esteem while building skills in analytics, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving, giving them a foundation for success in all areas of life.
