CHILDREN DINING ETIQUETTE - EDUCATIONAL EVENTS & SEMINARS
Whether youre eating at home, dining out, or having dinner with friends, good table manners for kids are an important part of every meal. When you teach your child good table manners, you are giving them important tools for social interaction that will serve them for the rest of their lives. Plus, laying the groundwork for good etiquette at the dinner table means your children will more likely become pleasant dinner companions for family meals in the years to come. This year, instead of the usual resolutions, why not make gathering the family around the dining table -- working on manners and proper eating etiquette -- top of the list. The session will be of 1 and 1/2 hours, children will be trained on a soup, a cutting protein and fake wine (grape juice). They will learn how to sit, table posture, hands position, utensils placement and usage, drinking from a glass, speaking, chewing and much much more. Chef Walter has been teaching dining etiquette since 1985 where the program began at the East Greenwich Elementary Schools...Just remember that most CEOs do not have a professional dining etiquette and often miss the most important steps of table manners. WK 3: Court Sports - Elmwood Franklin School
Get active and experience some of the newest and most exciting sports in WNY and around the world. Each day campers will try a different sport activity from rock-wall climbing, water biking, street hockey, kayaking, flag rugby, to the thrill-seeking Sky Zone "extreme trampoline and much, much more! KidSport Afternoon: Tennis & Golf, 6/27 - 7/1 - Scarlett Middle School
[] KidSport Afternoon: Tennis and Golf Each week features a different sport teaching basic fundamentals skills, rules, team building and sportsmanship and open swimming time. Director: Kerry Winkelseth, UM School of Kinesiology. Campers bring snacks and water. Afternoons, Monday-Friday. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Curbside Drop-off. Staff will pick-up your camper from your car at 1:00 PM and bring your camper to your car at 4:00 PM. KidSport offers children the opportunity to learn and refine non-competitive sport-specific, team building and social skills. The activities are age appropriate and developed by experts in childrens physical education. KidSport is staffed by certified teachers as well as physical education and education majors focused on providing a first-rate experience for your kids! Play On! Soccer Camp - NHTI, Concords Community College
Our 4th annual Play On! Soccer Camp for boys and girls in grades 4-10 at NHTI utilizing the wonderful playing surfaces and meeting areas at NHTI in Concord, NH. Campers come ready to play (ball, shin guards, lunch, drinks, sunscreen, mouth guards optional). Campers receive a camp t-shirt as part of tuition. Grades 4-10....skill camp work, small sided and large group games... Site Directors: Derek Johnson (St. Pauls School) and Heidi Crockett (NHTI) Low ratio of coach/counselor to camper....
