Musical Theatre Intensive 1: Fame Jr. - The Studio Around the Corner
Our Musical Theatre Intensive workshops are fast-paced 5-day programs that are designed to give students intensive experience as a lead or supporting role in a staged musical production. The staged production (Day 4 of the program) consists of acting, singing and dancing with a script and score, costumes, props, lighting & sound. The musical to be performed is FAME the Musical! Set in the 80s and based on the real NYC Performing Arts high school, FAME tells the story of a group of performing arts students and their journey at PA. Ages 10 - 18. 9am - 3pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday at the Studio Around the Corner, 67 Main Street in Brewster, NY. ELITE LAX CAMP - JUNE 1 - 4 2015 REGISTER EARLY : All registrations received by February 28th will automatically be enterred into a drawing for a Hopkins Helmet. The winner will be announced at camp. The prize will be awarded the first day of camp. High School Session: TBD daily. High School session will be run as collegiate practice sessions with intense, position specific instruction. Participants must be in grades 9 to 12 as of the 2015-2016 school year. Middle School Session: TBD daily. M.S. session is for participants 6th to 8th grade as of the 2015 - 2016 school year. Participants will be divided based on age and skill level to maximize learning. Youth Session: TBD daily. Youth Session are for participants 3rd to 5th grade as of the 2015 - 2016 school year. Grab your Tents and sleeping bags. This fun filled week is all about camping in Colorado. Learning about the different animals we will come across in our beautiful state as well as creating crafts that our essential for the outdoors. A trip to Lookout Mountain will get us even more educated in the camping world around us. We will have a campfire and sing songs. Do you like to sing, dance, and perform? Have a fun filled time learning show music, choreography, and acting from a musical comedy script and then performing a musical theater production.
