Choose from Camp #1 July 11th-15th or Camp #2 July 18th-July 22nd. Class Cost per week $87.50. Camp #1: 3:00pm-5:00pm -- Plein Air (**Students encouraged to participate in Part I & II) "Examining our surroundings in detail, seeing beauty not only in the spectacular but also in the smallest growing things" (Lowenfeld) . In addition to work in our cozy studio, small Plein-Air outings will be held at 2 locations during this one week workshop. Students will learn how to connect with their surroundings. Students develop their observation skills and increase their knowledge about the world around them. Parents expected to drive students to the Plein-Air location specified prior to class. Camp #2: 3:00pm-5:00pm -- Plein Air II: Art In Motion This is a stand alone class of can be the second step to week 1. This week will focus on gesture drawing, composition, and how to record what you see when it’s moving. Hotspot Dance Studio offers a yearly Summer Camp that will make sure your son or daughter not only has a safe place to enjoy their summer vacation and be part of activies, but also a place where they will be learning new skills related to performance arts. This trip is reserved only for our senior high campers. The joy of skimming across Adirondack Lakes in kayaks is one to be remembered for a lifetime. Your route will take you north from Long Lake through the Adirondacks most wild and beautiful canoe area. Your group will travel along the Raquette River, into Stony Creek Ponds, and finally into Upper Saranac where a special Island waits for our campers alone. Paddling lakes and rivers, cooking under the stars, and enjoying the company of new and old friends will have you wishing that the trip were longer. 518-631-6789

The camp is intended to teach players the fundamentals of volleyball from A to Z. Players will be grouped according to their age and ability. They will receive both individual and team instruction. The USM staff is geared up to give the beginning player the skills necessary to compete, while challenging event he most advanced youngster. This camp will emphasize skill development and both individual and team concepts. Each player will receive special attention according to their individual needs. Our goal is to develop skills, team play and overall ability so that each player becomes more knowledgeable and better able to apply these concepts to game situations. The philosophy will be to improve through hard work, develop individual and team skills and to have a positive and fun experience.
