The Bolles Bulldog coaching staff will be presenting a 5 day camp on improving the fundamentals necessary for a middle school basketball player as he / she prepares to move to the next level. The focus of the camp will be on developing ball-handling, passing, shooting and defense skills as well as team play scheduled. The camp is designed for players 4th through 8th grade. 6 - 14 year olds are invited to participate in Yuba Sutter Arts first Kid's Art, Music, Movement and Acting (KAMMA) Camp, July 18th - July 22nd daily from 9am - 3:30pm. Kid's will take part in a well-rounded variety of artistic activities. At the end of the week, on Friday, July 22nd, an art show and performance will be held at 6pm in the Lee Burrows Center For the Arts, Theater. Full and half-day registrations are available. Dont try this at home: the sequel! If you missed it last year, dont make the same mistake twice! This fun, mess-filled camp is making a comeback with more ooey-gooey, messy fun! Join in as we suds things up with wet-felting, get down and dirty in clay or turn up the psychedelic vibes with some tie-dye! Campers should bring lunch, drinks and two snacks (due to allergies, please make sure all food is peanut free) PFACs camps are led by one teaching artist per 12-15 students with assistance from Camp Counselors. CAMP DETAILS Fractured Fairy Tales Week In our Fractured Fairytale world, students will learn how to adapt traditional fairytales using unexpected characterization, modified points of view and bizarre plot development. Working as an ensemble well then dramatize our new fractured fairy tale using music and movement. Working alongside one of our professional teaching artists students will also play fun theater games and learn how to develop characters for the stage. This camp aims to cultivate creativity and give participants experience of creating their very own theater piece. Children spending the full day with us should bring a sack lunch for our lunch break at the park Musical Theater Week Thank you for the music! In this camp, students will have fun exploring their own personal voices through songs and dances from various musicals! In addition to drama and improv games that foster theater skills in creativity, self-expression and teamwork, campers will create their own show that incorporates songs from their favorite musicals.
